Mallow Lodge is a contemporary eco-lodge situated in a quarry, with stunning views of the sheer stone walls. With a secluded, south-facing decking area outside and a cosy, open-plan living space indoors, it's the perfect place to enjoy the dramatic scenery and beaches of Northumberland. The space Mallow Lodge is one of a small group of holiday eco-lodges situated within the dramatic setting of Brada Quarry. Northumberland is known for its stunning scenery, and the quarry is no exception, with superb views from the decking and living room, and the magic of nature right on your doorstep. The exterior decking is south-facing, the perfect spot to catch some sun during a lazy afternoon or evening. Inside the property you'll find a large, open-plan living area, with panoramic windows from the kitchen looking out onto the quarry. The living space is the perfect place to relax with comfy seating and a wood burning stove as a central feature. Mallow Lodge puts you in easy reach of some of Northumberland's most famous and iconic destinations, including Bamburgh with its famous Castle; Holy Island; the coastlines and walking trails. Budle Bay is in walking distance from the lodge, with its beautiful beaches, cycle routes and bird sanctuary. Spectacular countryside and vast open skies are never far away, and a holiday at this eco-lodge will bring you up close to the beauty and majesty of the North East's unique rural landscapes. For larger groups, Mallow Lodge is also available to book for six guests, with use of a third bedroom, subject to availability (see separate listing). Additional Information: Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Children and infants welcome. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Walking distance to beach. The quarry has a steep rock face, but there is a safe, enclosed area for viewing and picnics. There is no lighting (other than at the lodge door) outside the properties and in the surrounding car park area. This is to avoid light pollution as the area is a dark sky area and perfect for star gazing. There is no access to the adjacent nature reserve as it is protected, however the variety of butterflies, other birds and flowers are numerous and easily spotted. Fulmars can be spotted next to the Quarry face. There is no provision for the charging of electric vehicles at Mallow Lodge. It is strictly forbidden to charge your vehicle from the domestic electric supply (for example by putting a plug into a plug socket inside the property) as it is highly dangerous and could invalidate the owners property insurance and your own motor insurance. Please charge your vehicle at one of the local charging points near the property. Bedroom two With a 5' king-size bed. Family bathroom With bath and overhead shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: Private, south-facing wooden decked area with handrail. Rattan garden furniture set. Shared grounds beyond the decking area with picnic benches. Designated parking area for two cars adjacent to Mallow Lodge.
