This cozy, quiet cottage is nestled in Cosby, off of scenic Hwy 321, 18 mi to downtown Gatlinburg. @theWaterAndRest is geared towards creative, adventurous souls needing a ReSet. Comfortable conveniences w/ an artistic edge, awaits. A nice, roaring stream runs through The Water and Rest and feet away… so take it in, it's very soothing! The space Private- 2 Queen beds, 1 Bath, Kitchen with oven, cooktop, microwave, mini fridge AND an additional full-size refrigerator is in the utility room. **To help protect everyone, there will be 1 night minimum between reservations** First and foremost, especially now, it’s important for you to know that my cleaning policy has always included Clorox, disinfectant spray, and Clorox products. I wipe down common surfaces with Clorox wipes and always have. Also, these products are available in the rental for your use. Never do I reuse comforters. That IS gross! They might have a wrinkle or two from being folded but they’re clean!! My health AND yours is a major priority of mine. PET FRIENDLY WITH RULES! See additional info. The Loft @TheWaterAndRest is a Super cool, creek front cottage/bungalow with a great vibe, nestled in the woods. Two very comfortable beds in a space that overlooks the stream. You’re encouraged to “unplug” during your stay and embrace nature; however, amazing WiFi AND a smart TV is present for your use and connection. No direct cable connection. Otherwise, board and card games are available for creating memories to last forever. Take a stroll, stick your toes in the water and just be. Help yourself to the swing or horseshoe pit in the commons area across from parking area. “The Loft” is for 2 queen beds in a studio w/ loft type setup. (I’m not talking about the separate unit of “The Studio”. That is its own separate unit.) The Loft has its own Bath, kitchen, and dining; it is a self-sufficient, private space. Microwave, small oven, stove top, small refrigerator/freezer ALONG with an additional full size refrigerator which is in the laundry/utility room and only used for the Loft. 4 rocking chairs are on the porch. 4 chairs for the private fire pit. Private charcoal AND gas grill (added Feb 2021) Access to commons area near parking for horseshoe pit, swing, picnic table. What properties are here? The Studio, The Loft, The Cabin, and The Suite. All have the stream running just feet from them, on under 3 total acres. Guest access Stream, swing, horseshoe pit, picnic table, Charcoal and gas grills, Fire Pit, and woods. Other things to note Rules DO apply for bringing your doggie! NO high shedding!! (Unless you have some magic to leave no hair… I’m not up for that, at all.) NO AGGRESSIVE or overly anxious doggies. Chewing their “way out” while you’re away or shredding a comforter, isn’t acceptable. Basically, I’m pet friendly to good doggies with amazing, responsible parents. No additional fee. $300 if your dog blows a coat while here. No exceptions to a hairy mess. Leashes, “picking up” after your dog, or crating…. Is your responsibility.
