Rental unit in Edinburgh

Set at the end of a quiet no through road this penthouse flat affords stunning views across the South West of the city and on to the beautiful Pentland Hills. Very conveniently located: 10-15 mins on the bus or 30 mins walk to the city centre (West end of Princess Street). It is a spacious open-plan living apartment with balconies on both sites. It’s a modern building with secure entry system and lift. There is a free car park available for guests. Disney+, Amazon Movies, iPlayer & Spotify inc. The space The freshly decorated guest bedroom with private balcony has a comfortable double bed, 2 side tables, plenty power points, a TV and built in wardrobes for your use. This room is east facing which makes it particularly sunny in the mornings. There is the likelihood you’ll be required to complete self-check in to the property via key lockbox (the location of which will be advised). This is because the flat will be available when the owner is travelling. The flat is on the 4th floor (top floor) and is accessible via stairs or a lift. While the lift is very reliable, in the event of a breakdown, it may not be possible to fix the lift during your stay. In that event access will be via the stair only. I am including information on how to open patio door in the living room here and in couple other places so that it is easily findable on the listing as it got damaged previously by my guest and I am very keen to prevent it in the future. If you having problems with the window despite this instructions please do not hesitate to contact me. 1. Pull the handle all the way to the bottom which opens it partially. 2. While holding the moving part of the window with one had on the handle and the other hand at the other age of the window please pull it towards yourself 3. You can now slid the moving part of the window to the site. How to close patio door 1.Push the moving half of the window to the very end it can go ( in open position)- That should reset it for you. 2. Pull the window towards the television which should slight bottom part of the window in the closing position. 3.While holding both the edge of the window with one hand and pulling handle completely up with the other hand push the window in. Guest access The whole apartment except my bedroom ( which is locked ) is fully accessible for my guests. Other things to note How to self-check-in Once you arrive at 32 Moat Terrace, continue to the left and round the side of the building via the resident’s car park to the rear of the building. Here you will find the rear entrance. The wall-mounted lockbox contains your keys. It’s a Diyife branded black and grey box with a combination lock. You will have been sent this prior to your stay. Inside the box there are two keys. One opens both front and rear ground floor entrance doors and one opens the flat’s door on the fourth floor (flat number 7). Heating and Hot Water The central heating and hot water is controlled via a panel in the kitchen. The cupboard by the window contains the boiler and the white control panel is beneath it. It will be set to both heating and water to come on twice per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. This should be sufficient to keep you warm and to have hot showers. However, if you require a quick boost of either heating or hot water at another time of day please use the aforementioned control panel. The right-hand round grey button ‘HOT WATER’ and the left-hand grey button ‘HEATING’ are below the LED display. Push ‘HOT WATER’ until the arrow on the above display moves to ‘BOOST’. The same applies to the ‘HEATING’ button. This will activate hot water/heating. Once you have had this quick boost please ensure you return to the pre-set, twice per day program. To do this press the button four times until the arrow returns to ‘TMD’ (as in timed). This means you’ve returned either heating or hot water to the pre-set times.
