Welcome to Abeni House, a rustic mountain retreat near Hunter and Belleayre Mountain and a short walk to the Pines restaurant and Mount Tremper Arts. Relax in the private six-person hot tub or unwind in the shared cedar barrel sauna after a day of adventure. The spacious living area offers the perfect space to relax, with a cozy wood stove for chilly nights. The equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals enjoyed at the charming wood farmhouse table or in the bright sunroom. The space Abeni House features four comfortable bedrooms: the main bedroom with a queen bed and a railroad bedroom with two twin size beds on the first floor, and two upstairs bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with a full size bed. The single bathroom includes a separate soaking tub and an oversized shower. The large living area boasts a comfortable sectional sofa, smart TV, and dining table- perfect for group gatherings. The kitchen is well-stocked with basic amenities, plus coffee ideal for enjoying in the sunroom with stunning natural light. Water is safe for drinking. Outside, guests will find a six-person hot tub, reserved exclusively for Abeni House guests. The 7 acre property features an expansive lawn with breathtaking mountain views. We are a short walk to the Pines restaurant and Mount Tremper Arts and a few minutes away from the Emerson Place Kaleidoscope (The World's largest Kaleidoscope). We are minutes away from Phoenicia Diner and about 25 minutes away from the famous town of Woodstock, where you have access to fine dining, shopping and some amazing art displays. We are also about 25 minutes away from Hunter Mountain and Bellearye Mountain ski resorts. Guest access The Abeni House is one of three units on our seven-acre property which you are free to explore and enjoy year round. The house has ample parking and the driveway is shared with the guest house. There are two other properties which share the yard and the cedar barrel sauna. Other things to note We love pets! This property allows up to 2 medium size dogs at a fee of $50 each or cats. Please be sure to indicate the breed and dog size upon reservation. While on the property, do not leave your pets unattended in the home and be sure to clean up after them both inside the house and outside. ALL pets should be on a leash or supervised carefully as the yard is not fenced in. Also any furniture that is moved around and not placed back to original location will attract an additional fee. Please be sure to follow all user instructions around the home. Check out time is 11am. Late check out is subject to availability and attracts a fee of $25 per hour. We ask that you not leave food outside or on the grill as we do have very curious animal neighbors. We do have some wild life that may harm your beloved pets (this has never ever happened, but we like to air on the side of caution) Take advantage of our Wifi to get some remote work done. PLEASE NOTE Our water comes from an underground well which is filtered on several levels, though at times there may be a funky smell due to the sulphate levels which we can only control so much. The water is safe for drinking, cooking and bathing. If you are not comfortable with drinking the water please bring your own.
