The Old Smithy is an ecologically designed, oak frame retreat, ingeniously planned to take full advantage of the amazing sea view over Widemouth Bay and the rolling countryside. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty this holiday home is a perfect base for a getaway to enjoy the North Cornish coast and hinterland. The space The open plan living area is perfect to relax and enjoy a peaceful countryside holiday with Widemouth Bay beach just a few minutes' drive away. The features within the property have been produced by using traditional joinery craftsmanship and have been combined with all the conveniences of modern living which make The Old Smithy a perfect space to spend time relaxing. Entrance from the driveway into a small hallway, washing machine and with steps up. Kitchen/dining room/sitting room electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, radio, kitchen island with two stools, corner sofa and reclining chair, Smart TV, door into: Bedroom double bed with en suite bath, separate enclosed shower, WC and basin. Outside storage room separate and secure ideal for bicycles, surfboard, sports equipment store with hanging facility and drip trays for wetsuits and tumble dryer. Garden enclosed grass lawn with brick paved area, additional small paved area, outdoor table and chairs. Outdoor area paved area with additional table and four chairs on the top of driveway area. The property uses an eco-friendly air source heat pump for heating and hot water, electricity is topped up with the solar panel array. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate provided, WiFi, one dog welcome. Guest access There is plenty of parking outside the property. Please bear in mind that is shared with the other property. The locked outside storage is yours to use for any bikes, sports equipment etc. If drying wetsuits please use the additional drip tray (behind door) to catch water. Tumble dryer is also located in here with an overhead drying line, airier & ironing board. There is also an outside line, with pegs right hand side of the front garden. BBQ available on request. Other things to note Please note travel cot available, however mattress & bedding for this is not supplied. This is based on hospitality safety advice.
