Devils Glen ski club is about 8 km from the cottage. Nordic cross country skiing is just 8 km from our place. You can find activity for everyone all year around. Canoes, kayak and a big wooden pontoon are included in the quote. Waterfront sauna, hot tub, paddle boat and paddle board are available (extra cost). The space There are 3 bedrooms and an additional summer bedroom in the cottage. The summer bedroom is available from May 1 st till September 1st There are 2 cottages, 3 cabins, and wood waterfront sauna on 100 acres property with 25 acres private trout lake. It's very quiet location. The cottage is perfect for a family or group of 8-10 people looking for relax. We also offer 3 waterfront cabins for 4 people each cabin (for an additional cost). A lot of summer activities: fishing, swimming, canoes, pontoon, kayak, basketball ring, table tennis, (inc. In the price). Also close to golf, horse farms and Grey Highland falls and caves. Winter activities: Blue Mountain ski resort is about 25 km from the cottage. Devils Glen country club is just 8 km from our place. A short 7 km drive way to Dogsled Rob Roy. Highlands Nordic cross country skiing is just 8 km from this place. You can enjoy wood waterfront sauna for an additional cost. $160 for 4 hours (max 4 people). Extra cost for an additional people is $40 per person. There are: - large outdoor waterfront deck with propane BBQ; - magnificent large living room with wooden fireplace; - kitchen fully equipped with all appliances; - fire pit; - charcoal BBQ. It's a cozy cottage with charm and character. Other things to note Parking All guests should park their car in the special parking space assigned. Recreational equipment We have pontoon, canoes and kayak available for all guests to use free of charge. Every person who is participating in water activities should wear a life jacket. Parents take full responsibility for safety of their children. Children should not be left unattended. Boat rental We have 14' paddle fishing boat available. The price for 3 hours rent is $30. The daily rental rate is 50$/day. Sauna Waterfront wood sauna is for an additional cost. $160 for 4 hours (max 4 people). Extra cost for an additional people is $40 per person. Security or Damage Deposit A refundable security/damage deposit is C$500. Groups of young adults may be subject to a larger deposit. Your security deposit applies to any loss of property or damage that may occur inside and outside the cottage. Pets We allow dogs in our property by preliminary arrangement with the owners. No cats are allowed. Pets should be properly supervised by the pet owners at all times and should not be left unattended. During the walk dogs must be kept on a leash. Pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets. The penalty charge of $100 will be applied if the pet owners break the rules. Policies: Smoking in the cottage and sauna is prohibited. Smoking is only allowed 3 meters from the buildings. The penalty charge for smoking inside the buildings is $150. Sauna is heated by the hosts. You can heat them them by yourself only if you get proper instructions from the hosts first. The number of guests should be approved by the owners prior to arrival. There is an extra charge for all extra people. No loud noise in and outside the cottage after 11:00 pm please, except special secluded area where it is allowed. Please remember to take all of your personal items with you when you check out. We are not responsible for any lost valuables. We ask that all children be properly supervised at the playground and on the property at all times. If you use CD player or watch DVDs, we kindly ask you to put discs back to where they were stored before. We ask that all original property be in place before departing. This includes all dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups, outdoor furniture and BBQ. All electrical appliances should be turned off . Guests should bring their own towels and linens (2 king-size beds, 1 queen-size bed, 1 double size bed, and a double pull-out couch). Guests should bring charcoal and wood with them if they are planning to use barbecue, fire pit or fireplace. We can provide fire wood for $20 per pack. Power Electrical power may be interrupted in the event of for instance storm. If the power does go out, remember that the water system operates on an electric pump. Please do not run water if the power is out. We are not responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by power failure. Washrooms & Septic System Like most cottages our cottage operates on a septic system. Please do not put anything in the toilets. There are rubbish bins provided in the washrooms for toilet paper, paper towels, tampons, pads, hair etc. If any of this got into our septic system it would back it up and we would have to call emergency service. In case it happens all the costs from the damage will be incurred by the guests. Fireplace Before starting each fire, open the chimney flue damper. Keep it open while you have fire. Avoid making overly intense fires that could damage the fireplace. Do not burn garbage, painted pieces of wood or glossy finish newspapers magazines. Ensure that extra logs and all furniture are at least 120 cm (4 feet) away from the bottom of the fireplace. Keep the anti-sparks screen doors closed at all times and never leave a fire without surveillance. The glass doors must be warmed up slowly and closed only when the fire is very low or out. Barbecue & Fire pit A charcoal barbecue is provided free of charge in a special place. We would ask that you bring charcoal with you. We also have a propane BBQ available, and we provide propane free of charge. Please do not burn any wood or anything else in the barbecue and clean/brush it down after each use. If the barbecue is left dirty or broken after check out time, extra fee will be charged from your damage deposit. Recreational campfires are allowed only in designated fire pit area. Making fire in other places is prohibited. All fires in your fire pit must be continually supervised. Recycling & Waste Disposal Please put any paper, cardboard, cans, foil, plastic and glass in the recycle box which is provided in the kitchen. Never leave garbage outside the cottage. Garbage must be placed in the garbage bins. It is very important that all guests practice environmentally friendly procedures on the property and recycle when possible. Notice Person who is making booking is responsible to explain these rules to other people in his company. Our cottage rules are for all Perry's Pond guests, and include everyone in your party.
