You arrive at Applecote along a winding country lane just 10 minutes walk from Rye town centre. It is a pretty, weatherboarded small barn conversion studio apartment, with exposed beams and woodburner is the perfect couples retreat. Great space for exploring Rye for a few days away or longer. Off ride parking space and beautiful footpaths within minutes of the cottage, so great property for those guests exploring on foot or who love a ramble. The space You enter into the property through the perfectly formed hand crafted kitchen, with dining table and seating for two. The splash of green adds a touch of colour with the mix of natural materials. You have an oven, hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, DAB radio, kettle, toaster and butlers sink, everything you could need for self catering. Stairs lead up to the living space, with exposed beams, large picture window and french doors opening out onto the decked terrace and garden. The space doubles up as your lounge and bedroom with a double bed, arm chair, woodburner and Smart TV, a great place to sit back and relax and enjoy the quiet. Off of the living area is a modern wet room, with shower, hand basin, shaver point and WC. The decked terrace is a lovely spot to sit with your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening and enjoy the natural garden, which is fenced. Please note, the apartment is not centrally heated there is a wall hanging electric radiator in the living area, an electric heated towel rail in the wet room and the woodburner, which once lit heats the whole apartment. A welcome basket of wood and kindling is provided in the wood store off the decking. If you wish to light the fire every evening, you will need to purchase a bag of logs at the local supermarket or garage. The property accepts one well behaved dog but please note although fully fenced please keep an eye on your dog due to the proximity of the lane. Parking for one car is provided to the right of the cottage. Guest access You have the whole place to yourselves but the owner are next door should require assistance. Other things to note The cottage does not have central heating. There is one wall hanging electric radiator in the living area which can be left on a timer, the woodburner that once lit heats the whole studio and an electric towel rail in the wet room.
