Our cottage is nestled in a small Corrèze hamlet surrounded by fields and forests in Gros Chastang, close to the Dordogne Gorges. Sleeps 6 people and a baby maximum. Wi-Fi internet. Rated 3-star Furnished Tourist Accommodation. The space Independent house of about 100 m² (ground floor, unfinished floor) completely restored, exposed stones and beams, typical bassière and cantou of the region, slate roof. Washer 3 bedrooms: - 1 bedroom with double bed - 1 bedroom with double bed and single bed (wrought iron bench) - 1 small bedroom with 1 single bed Bathroom with 2 sinks and bathtub, separate toilet Large wooded garden of 2000 m² enclosed by a dry stone wall: 2 garden lounges, barbecue and games for children Electric central heating (radiators in each room and heated floor in the living room) + wood stove (½ cord of firewood provided, additional firewood: €30 for ½ cord/€60 for cord) Baby furniture available: baby crib, high chair, bathtub, changing mat, baby pot, bottle warmer Quiet and clean pets accepted (notify the owner at time of booking) Tourist documentation available ACTIVITIES Many sites to discover and many activities nearby: walks in the forest, mountain biking (Departmental Base of Leisure Cycling in Sédières), Laborde pond, Marcillac-la-Croisille lake, supervised canoe descents on the Dordogne, Sédières castle (in summer: contemporary music festival, opera, exhibitions...), Argentat sur Dordogne, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Gimel waterfalls, the Tours de Merle, medieval farms in Xaintrie, President Chirac museum in Sarran, Tulle, the monks' canal in Aubazine, Pompadour, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Padirac Chasm, Rocamadour..... The surplus electricity will be paid on-site according to consumption.
