Casa El Rosario, Oaxaca

Our townhouse is located outside of the centro of Oaxaca, in a working class neighborhood with a local market blocks from the house and nature easily accessible. The house was completely remodeled with natural stucco siding, wood cabinets and doors, new kitchen appliances and a small open air patio. A covered patio offers a small space for yoga or just relaxing in the hammock. The use of public transportation (or a car or an adventurous cyclist!) is necessary to go to the downtown areas. The space Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath furnished townhouse has a double bed in the upstairs bedroom and a single bed in the downstairs bedroom. It is a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, 4-burner stove, oven, traditional tile and natural wood cabinets. There is a covered terrace upstairs. A small tiled open-aired patio on the lower level allows for outdoor dining. In order to avoid city water shortages, which are common, we have a cistern to have an uninterrupted water supply.
