Beautiful sunsets on Lake Superior - Don's Cabin

Don's cabin is located on the west facing shore of the Keweenaw peninsula, so in the summer we get gorgeous sunsets here almost every night! 5 minutes away from McLains State Park. 7 miles from CMX airport. Stay in a cozy quiet cabin with lots of natural light and a view of Lake Superior. During the autumn months, enjoy amazing fall colors all around the cabin. The space Attn: Starting Spring 2026, Don's Cabin is now Lakeview only (no beach access)! We recommend that you use the closest free public beach, Calumet Waterworks, which is right down the road! Guest access Don's cabin has two complete apartments, upstairs and downstairs. The Airbnb consists of the second floor apartment and attic loft. Don will most likely be staying in the lower apartment. The two apartments are separated by a locked trapdoor. Other things to note Don occasionally has guests camping on the property, so you might run into some of his friends and their campers in the driveway!
