Mayfield Farm Cottage is a exquisitely appointed 2 bedroom accomodation nestled in the tranquil countryside and just 45mins to spectacular Cradle Mountain. It is the perfect base to explore Cradle Mt, Mole Creek caves, Lake Barrington rowing course, Sheffield town of murals, the scenic coastal drive through Penguin, Latrobe chocolate and cheese factories, Mt Roland walks & just 10min to the mountain bike trails. The cottage has complimentary Wi-Fi Netflix and YouTube and the miniature Donkeys & goats, sheep cows & ducks roam the paddocks. 1st DAY COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST Complimentary breakfast provisions are provided on the first day as you begin exploring the region with fresh eggs from the farm, bacon, tomatoes, homemade jams with home grown berries, honey, a loaf of home made bread and a coffee pod machine for the coffee connoisseur. If you would like breakfast supplied on subsequent days, we’d be more than happy to supply at a cost of $12 per person per day. Please let us know at time of booking. BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a luxurious queen bed and the second with two KING singles all with quality linens, luxurious mattress toppers and electric blankets. There is a separate modern bathroom with shower vanity and heated towel rail. KITCHEN The brand new, fully equipped kitchen has a full sized oven and cook top, microwave, fridge/freezer, air fryer, rice cooker, coffee pod machine, toasted sandwich maker and all the necessary cooking utensils and condiments needed to cook up a feast. OUTDOOR BBQ There is also a BBQ and comfy outdoor setting on the verandah for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity, watching the ever changing colours of Mt Roland as the sun goes down and there are only a million stars left shinning, with a glass of Tasmania’s finest wine. WASHING FACILITIES If you need to catch up with some washing during your stay, there is a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. LOUNGE AND DINING The lounge has comfy seating for 4, smart flat screen TV and for those cosy nights, a beautiful electric feature fire place for the romantics and a heat pump that will keep the entire cottage warm and cosy. The dining room has a table and chairs to seat 4. EXTERIOR There is a covered carport attached to the cottage to keep that occasional snow off the car in winter.
