Home to many & varied wildlife including magnificent families of Kookaburras & Parrots 🦜. Queen Bed, Tennis, Fire Pit, Gas BBQ & Large Pool. Short drive to Samford Village, IGA supermarket, Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious & Mt Cootha & lots of bush walks. Non shedding dogs welcome, other pets considered (no shedding dogs please). Min stay 2 nights, (discount=>5) The space Modern studio style stand-alone unit situated next to the main house on 5 acres with lots of birds & wildlife (you often see wallabies grazing early in the morning & evening and often hear families of Kookaburras communicating). The unit is in the heart of the magnificent D’aguilar National Park. Paved outdoor dining area with Gas BBQ, Fire Pit (and BBQ plate), and there's plenty of free kindling available about the property. We also offer a generous amount of complimentary firewood. Fire pit must be supervised at all times (& extinguished when finished) check with us re fire conditions or look online at the “Samford rural fire brigades” web site. Situated in a very quiet area in the heart of the Golden Valley at the foot of Camp Mountain, the unit is 20 minutes drive from the magnificent Mount Glorious Lookout and National Park, with magnificent rainforest nature walks a plenty. Dine out at multiple nearby restaurants (with home delivery options by the Flying Nunn, Samford Hotel, Little Tree and Dominos). If you want to cook there is an kitchenette with microwave, an electric frypan, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker , single hotplate and a small saucepan. There is also a pod style coffee machine. Most times we’re only next door, so will do our best to help you out if we can. The drinking water is sweet tasting spring water, with rain water tanks as a backup. All waste water is recycled onto the gardens. The toilet is a bio-cycle , which also recycles onto the garden, so no foreign matter in toilet or sink please. The room is fully screened, has block out Luxaflex blinds, (careful they are delicate, short tugs please), ceiling fan, ceiling insulation , solar activated whirly birds and reverse cycle air-con as well. The Large Deep swimming pool has a dive rock if you are game and the tennis court has a large shed (balls and rackets in the wooden box in the tennis shed, $3 beer in the fridge). Access to the laundry in the main house is available. Non Shedding dogs welcome. Other non shedding pets considered if you bring your own linen and cover the couch, please only instant book if your pet is non shedding or you message is you’re bringing your own linen, (it is impossible to remove the hair from the bed linen etc). The carport is right at the front door and will keep two large vehicles out of the weather. Foxtel IQ4 is on HDMI 1 , pay movies and pay events available (please put payments in the tin in the second utensil draw). Chromecast HDMI 2 Netflix use our account or yours on HDMI 3. Guest access Large Swimming Pool with low dose chlorine system so the water tastes like fresh water. When it's too cold to swim , take a book , bask in the large deck and enjoy the serene bush setting. Tennis Court and Shed (available any time except Thursday morning and Tuesday and Wednesday nights (and a few other times that we can confirm on request) rackets and balls provided free, tennis court lights available at $10 per hour). 2 Undercover car parks in front of the unit are both for you. Other things to note Please help yourself to drinks from the fridge in the tennis shed and pay cash in the piggy bank, $3 a beer $2 a soft drink. 60 inch Flat Screen TV. Has spare USB and HDMI slots if you want to stream on the free WiFi. Foxtel IQ Satellite with lots of free movie channels and some already downloaded in planner.
