Our bedroom is on the first floor in our home (& the only space that guests do not have access to). The Airbnb rooms are on the 2nd floor. Christmas happens 365 days a year in our home. Our Airbnb family keeps growing and we love serving others through hosting since May 2019. When you arrive, you will park on the left side of our driveway, closest to our front door. If you bring a second car, you will park tandem on the left side. Once you are on our front porch and enter our home, you may hear barking from our 2 friendly, low-allergy shih tzu / lhasa apso dogs, Butters & Midnite. In no time, they'll become your best friends (or if you prefer, we can keep them from you). We appreciate no shoes in the house unless you need them for health reasons. There's a supply of comfy slippers at our front door. Your room is located on 2nd level where you will have lots of privacy. While upstairs, you can overlook from open balcony our spacious livingroom where you can enjoy lounging. We are very accommodating with your privacy needs versus socialization interests. If you like relaxing with twinkly lights & candles, our home is decorated year-round in every room of home for Christmas. Guests love sitting out on the back porch with the twinkly lights & water fountain going in good weather and surrounded by mature trees and a pond. In addition to your complimentary Continental breakfast, there are plenty of available snacks & beverages that are included in the price of your room. Please let us know if anyone in your party has any food allergies or sensitivities. During May through August, you have access to our HOA pool, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. Please ask for details. Please, no smoking OR vaping in or outside of home. No wild parties...family fun welcomed (there's a closet filled with games and toys in your room). Only approved guests at registration unless discussed with host. Quiet hours: 10pm-6am (we can provide self-check-In if you need to arrive late). Check-in after 3pm/check out by 11am (ask if exceptions are needed In case we can accommodate). No pets and no children under the age of 2 as our home is not child-proofed. Other things to note We welcome everyone passing through the area and needing either an overnight stay, or a longer stay while on a business trip, or looking to relocate to this area (we've helped several families with their transition to the Charlotte area), or those wanting a fun destination for a vacation. Carowinds is just a 5-minute drive down the road near our home & most other attractions are 15-25 minute drive!
