THIS IS FOR THE PRIVATE USE OF OUR DOWNSTAIRS APARTMENT IN OUR THREE STORY HOME--with a private entrance. This is a 1350 square foot unit. However, if you'd like to use the kitchen/dining room area, that is on the main floor you are welcome to do so. BUT there is a small kitchenette with sink, fridge, freezer, coffee pot, large toaster icen/air fryer and microwave in your unit. Two bedrooms and a third bonus- like bedroom with a full size futon and twin futon in it and a cool star light The space THIS IS THE ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR OF OUR THREE STORY HOME (1350 sq. ft.) .. The entire home is a beautiful 3,600 square foot home on five acres. We own 1/2 way into the river. (technically). NOTE: this entire unit was destroyed on September 27th, 2024, by Hurricane Helene. Despite the house being ABOVE the 500 year flood mark, a 4 1/2 foot wall of water burst into the house. Most everything is brand new. We fully reopened six weeks later on November 8th. There is a small road between our front yard and the river bank. You have access to kayaks and tubes ( need to purchase more in spring 2025) and we're happy to take you up river at no charge so you can float down river. (When we're in town.. if we're out of town, you're still welcome to use them) hot tub and fire pit are out your front door. We do live on the main floor, when we're in town, and we do travel A LOT for work. We have a large master bedroom suite. You can have little or no interaction with us--it is up to you. Just outside your French door, entrance, is the hot tub and fire pit, and a large yard. There is plenty of parking. If you wish to use a full kitchen, the main deck or the main floor family room, you can enter from outside at the level of the driveway. PLEASE NOTE: that we rent two Airbnb Rooms in our house for Airbnb guests on the third (top) floor, so, when rented, these guests may also have use of the hot tub or fire pit area as well. They are not allowed to use the hot tub after 11 p.m. There is enough parking for 2 vehicles at the tiny home cabins. Guests can enjoy the unique location to all things Boone! (52 minutes) Downtown West Jefferson—19.5 miles. (23 minutes) Firewood: All of our properties have fire pits. We do not supply firewood, though there is often some left over from a guest before you or you can gather in the woods surrounding the property. All grocery stores sell bundles for a fair price. Guest access The first floor is all yours. Private entrance. You are welcome to access the main floor deck family room, kitchen and dining room. Other things to note If/when we have Airbnb guests on our third floor--they also have use of the hot tub, but can only access it from the front yard and have limited time use. We have two Airbnb guest rooms on the third floor of our home. We don't bite. We love to meet new people and hear your stories. Our feelings get hurt if you don't have a 5-star stay because of something we neglected to do. We will do our best to make it right, just let us know as soon as you see something amiss, not after you departed. We do get kinda perturbed if you don't have a 5-star stay because you didn't read the description, well. Thanks :-)
