Large, quiet garden in the back with three patio's catching the sun at different times of the day. 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath. Sleeps 9. Bus stop in front of house. Near beach, shops, Haarlem and Amsterdam. 6 Bikes for guests. 25min by bike to Formula 1 and beach. Parking for 4 cars. The space We love living in Heemstede and we love our home. There are four patios to chose from so there's always a place outdoors in the shade or in the sun depending on the temperature. And unusual for being so close to Amsterdam, no one looking in the back garden; just you, the garden and the birds. Huge, sunny, live-in kitchen that projects into the garden. Bus stop near the front door, 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam. Near beach, minutes from Haarlem. Guest access There is a key for the front door and a second key for the attached garage. The house has three floors and a basement. The driveway has room for 4 cars and there's more free parking around the corner. You can rent additional bikes at the Heemstede/Aerdenhout station and park them in the garage. Other things to note Haarlem is a hidden diamond. If you're never been there, you'll be surprised and delighted. It has everything Amsterdam does but without all the tourists. It is also home to the world famous Frans Hals and Teyler museums. We are also near the Keukenhof and the bulb fields. It's very cliche but bicycling through the tulip fields is truly a celebration of spring and we never miss the opportunity to do so. For beach lovers it's 25 minutes away by bike on a lovely little path along the dunes. By car it's 10 to 15 minutes.
