The guests can enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience by choosing between various luxury rooms and suites, all finely furnished and all with a spectacular view on the valleys around, and several comfortable and spacious apartments, all with Tuscan terracotta floors and with oak and chestnut beams and terracotta bricks on the ceilings. The breakfast is not included in the rental fee. The continenatal breakfast buffet prepared by our restuarant has a cost of € 15 per person. The space There are places which can reconcile people with the world and with themselves: this is the essence of Monticelli Castle. It is an ideal place to spend some time if you are looking for tranquillity, for the charm of an uncontaminated nature and for first class art treasures one can find in the countryside all around which are still partly unknown. Situated between Florence and Assisi, Monticelli Castle is for those who wish visit the Italian regions Tuscany, Umbria and Latium. Monticelli was originally a small medieval settlement dating back to the early 12th century. In the buildings of the hamlet apartments of different sizes have been completely restored, with all modern facilities available. The Castle of Monticelli is located on top of a small, prominent hill lying in the middle of a large valley. From the hilltop plateau there is a wonderful view extending for many kilometers in all directions. The medieval city of Perugia is clearly visible from the castle and the surrounding gardens. We have apartments and suites of very different sizes, from the small ones with one bedroom, one living room and bathroom to the very large ones with three bedrooms. All the apartments and suites have original “cotto”-tiled floors and ceilings with wooden beams. In some of them the antique internal stone walls have been restored and kept in sight. Your tasty breakfast buffet will be served in our panoramic 'Pergola' with its gorgeus view to Perugia. Monticelli Castle has two swimming pools, a SPA (with a supplement) which has a whirpool, sauna and turkish baths. On request we can offer body treatments. Our nice restaurant 'Osteria Castello Monticelli' offers delicious dishes of the region and our own products from the orgnic garden. In the 'Bottega Monticelli' we sell homade tomato sauce, marmelades, legumes, fresh organic vegetables and our hemp products. Nearby there are shops, golf courses, horse riding and many more sportive and cultural activities. The art cities like Perugia (15km), Assisi (25km), Todi (35km) and all other Umbrian jewels are very close by. We welcome you in this little charming corner of paradise.
