Our breezy loft is situated on the top floor of our Kimurimuri Beachfront Villa, right on one of Zanzibar's most pristine beaches in a quite private corner. The loft offers spectacular views over the bay and is the perfect place for nature lovers who want to experience Zanzibar's beauty beyond the typical hotel walls without missing out on comfort. The loft is very spacious and fully serviced. We also organize island tours and car rentals. Complimentary shopping trips are included in the price. The space Our spacious loft is located on the top floor of Kimurimuri Villa and offers stunning panoramic views over the entire beach bay. It’s fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. The large master bedroom features a tailor-made king-size bed, an extra single bed, mosquito nets, and air conditioning. The second bedroom, situated on a beautiful wooden mezzanine accessed via indoor staircases, has a tailor-made king-size bed, mosquito nets, and a fan only. This open mezzanine (no glass windows) lets you sleep close to nature, feel the sea breeze, and listen to the sounds of the ocean. Please note that the loft itself is accessed via a staircase and may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility difficulties. The loft also includes a spacious living area with two additional beds and comfortably sleeps 4–5 people. The accommodation is for self-caterers, with several excellent restaurants within walking distance if you prefer dining out. Kimurimuri Villa sits directly on the beach, surrounded by a lush tropical garden with comfy hammocks. The villa hosts two other independent apartments; guests share the pool, garden, and outdoor facilities, including direct beach access. The property features a deep-water pool, perfect for cooling off, relaxing with family, or simply unwinding in a peaceful setting. The garden also offers a spacious outdoor barbecue and dining area for socializing. Our SIM-based 4G internet works well for regular use, but it may not support continuous high-speed streaming or 24-hour video calls. If that’s essential, we recommend arranging your own connection. Other things to note There is no supermarket in Pongwe. Good supermarkets are in the neighboring town where one will find pretty much everything needed. We will support you with the shopping. Also the house provides fresh waters showers (which is very unique for places on the beach) and includes free drinking water. Further it needs to be mentioned that Zanzibar is still a cash society. The closest ATM is in Stonetown and foreign cards are not widely accepted. Also, we kindly ask all guests to respect the official check-in time (after 1:00 PM) and the check-out time (by 10:00 AM). Arriving earlier or leaving later disrupts our cleaning and preparation schedule. If the apartment is unoccupied and ready, we can offer an early check-in or late check-out at 50% of the daily rate.
