Celebrating Moreno's Cottages 100th Year! 1 -2 BR cabins are clean and well kept. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by forever wild forest. Conveniently located between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid - comes see why so many of our guests return each year! Our Summer only cabins are open June - October each year. Please look for your favorite of our 10 cabins, search under "Moreno's" for details and reviews. We offer Cabin 10 all year, on Airbnb. We offer discounted rates at 4+ nights and weekly. The space Cottage #7 has 2 twin beds. It has a kitchenette with coffeemaker, microwave, and small refrigerator. Please note there is no stove. We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We live on the property and will be here to answer any questions you may have. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. We are right off highway 86 but our property is quiet and peaceful. Guest access We have free Wifi spread throughout the property. Our guests say the speed and signal strength are very good no matter where you stay. There are communal gas grills , Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits , and horseshoes all free for our guests to use. We sell firewood on the property as well. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a gas station within walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc. Other things to note Pets: Our size limit is 50 pounds, No cats please dur to allergies. No pets allowed on bedding or comforters. Leash required on the property, Owner's must pick up and dispose of all "doggie business". Please let us know the details of our pet before you book, if possible, or share them after doing so. History: Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno in 1923. Tony built this property by hand over the years and Tessie ran the place like a drill Sargent. The Drake Family takes great price in carrying on this rustic cabin tradition. We are constantly updating and remodeling to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
