Description
Oaklands Cottage is located in Shalford village 2 miles outside of Guildford with regular connections between the two and trains to London from Guildford or or Gatwick Airport from Shalford station. Local shops, café, post office, train station, and several restaurants & pubs nearby. The village is surrounded by countryside with several nice walks and nearby river. We have an EV charger type 2 and we charge £12 for overnight usage or subject to how much charge is required. The space The double room overlooks our back garden. The room has a double bed (4ft 6inches)and non-working fireplace. It has bottles of filtered water, kettle coffee/tea making facilities (including ground coffee and a cafetiere in the kitchen if you prefer), and a hair-dryer upon request. You have exclusive use of the bathroom, which is at the other end of the hall. There is a closet, but is in use. If you would like to use it, please let us know and we will empty it for your use. At least one of us is usually around most days and night times. Feel free to use the kitchen if you want to cook (stove/oven/microwave). Utensils, plates etc. are also available. Guest access Access to kitchen, your bedroom and private bathroom (not ensuite but solely for your use). If you need a desk we have a spare office room! During your stay We are available to assist you with any questions you may have, however we also respect your privacy. Other things to note We have became owners of puppy as of January 2017 and the dog will be in the house and is allowed free roam downstairs. There are other rooms available if more are needed so feel free to ask. Breakfast: Please help yourself to cereal, bread, spreads (butter, jam, peanut butter etc), milk, juice and fruit for breakfast.
