A quiet location in the country, we’re located 25 minutes from Hanover NH, Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, as well as Vermont Law School and many summer camps such as the Aloha Camps, Camps Farnsworth, Billings and Lochearn. Located right around the corner is the Pema Osel Do-ngak Choling Buddhist retreat. There are two local hiking trails: The Cross-Rivendell and Appalachian Trails; two large lakes: Lake Fairlee and Lake Morey. The space This house was the original one-room schoolhouse converted into a residence. A bit off the beaten (paved) path, yet three miles to the closest store. We have local hiking: The Cross-Rivendell and Appalachian Trails and we have two large lakes close by. Foliage season, farmer's markets and acclaimed theatre are available throughout the Fall along with local beer-fests. Most of all, we have one of the most stunning foliage seasons in the country! We are located just two and a half hours from Boston and four hours from NYC. Hanover NH (Home of Dartmouth College) is only a 25 minute ride. There are local hiking trails and mountains to climb within a half hour. If you enjoy mountain biking there are lots of trails locally. We are conveniently located to to many locally swimming holes and waterfalls and deep pools. Lake Fairlee VT is only 10 mins away and Lake Morey VT 15 min drive! If your interested in taking some educational classes check out King Arthur Flour who offers baking/cooking classes at their educational center and is only a short 20 min ride! There are so many things to do or just simply relax! Guest access You will have shared kitchen space and bathroom is located on the same floor. You can access the washer and dryer also! Make yourself at home! During your stay The owner will be available at any time.
