Greenhart Cottage

Rustic cottage 'by the sea' located in the quaint, yet very secure village of Greenhart, a short stroll from the beach. Fall asleep each night listening to crashing waves and enjoy breakfast on the patio with a sea view beneath beautiful Milkwood trees. Village offers a restaurant, bar, public pool, cafe, and laundry services all within 3 minutes walking distance. Simple and peaceful, come along and unwind... The space When myself and my family visit the cottage when we get a chance, we really enjoy the safety the village provides. My 4 year old loves cycling on the small roads through the village, swimming in the village pool and exploring the rock pools on the beach. My husband loves his 'surfing home away from home', using the cottage as a peaceful base after hours of surfing in Southbroom and other popular surfing beaches in the area. We love the sound of the ocean in the evenings as we settle down after long days in the sun, playing guitar under the trees on the patio or enjoying a simple fish braai. For a night out, the bar in the village offers great food and drink, with a pool table over which we have made many friends. Monkeys frequently roam around the village and are much loved and protected part of the 'village family'. No feeding is allowed though, and we're always careful to close windows and doors when we're not at home to avoid cheeky raids. The village is located away from the crowds, yet close to popular beaches such as Leisure Bay and Southbroom and other attractions, including Wild Coast Sun, Riverbend Crocodile Farm, San Lameer Golf Course and Resort, family activities at Mac Bananas Farmstall (butterfly world, pancake restaurant, farmyard, rope adventure park, adventure golf, archery and quad biking). These are particularly useful areas to be aware of on rainy days. The cottage is simple, the area is peaceful. A great place to decompress and unwind. Guest access Access to everything. All linen, bedding and towels are provided. Kitchen is equipped with crockery and cutlery, basic cooking utensils, microwave, fridge and stove. No dishwasher and washing machine. Housekeeping (cleaning) services during your stay are available upon request at an additional cost.
