Welcome to our cottage, Pyttebo. The cottage is suitable for those who want to live in the countryside with free-range chickens around the corner, walking distance to the swimming area at Åsnen, hiking trails and the opportunity to paddle the canoe in Aggaå or take a trip on Åsnen. Access to canoe and life jackets is included in the rent May-Aug. You have a porch with beautiful views of fields and lake Åsnen in the background. A perfect place if you want to enjoy nature and country life. The space The cottage has a simple but functional small kitchen and a bathroom (with WC and shower). In the bedroom there is a bunk bed and a single bed and in the living room there is a sofa bed. The cottage is small and without the possibility of closing between bedroom and living room. It is suitable for, for example, two adults and children. Guests bring their own bed linen and handtowels or rent from us: 100 SEK / person - payable in cash on arrival. In the cottage there is a dish brush, dishcloth, dishwashing detergent, cleaning products, toilet paper, hand soap and shower gel. Guest access Guests have their own veranda at Pyttebo. There is also lawn adjacent to the cottage that you are allowed to use. Other things to note There are free-range chickens, dogs and other farm animals close by - all very kind. The chickens and rooster roam freely right outside your door. If you want to visit some of the other animals, it is fine if it is done in consultation with us - not on your own initiative. It can probably be good to bring earplugs if you do not want to "wake up with the rooster". There is very limited public transport during the summer (no daily bus service) and it is basically necessary to have access to a car in order to drive to the cottage and to go anywhere outside the village June-August. There are no grocery stores in the village. The nearest grocery store is about 7 km away - in Väckelsång. When checking out, the cottage must be left in the same condition as you found it. Cleaning instructions will be found in a binder in the cabin. In case of unsatisfactory cleaning, I charge a fee of SEK 800. If you want to book cleaning of the cabin when booking (to avoid spending time on cleaning yourself and instead enjoy the whole stay), please let us know in advance, and we will set aside time to provide this service. Paid in cash in Swedish kronor on site upon check-in or during the stay (before check-out). If you are interested in buying organically grown vegetables/fruit/berries from our garden - just ask! Depending on season and assets we might be able to offer you fresh vegetables/fruit/berries.
