This picturesque street is located in the heart of Amsterdam's old city centre, and borders on the Prinsengracht and the lively Jordaan, where numerous traditional brown pubs and restaurants of all cuisines and standards can be found. Guest access *** CHECK - IN: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturdays - 15:15, 20:00 or 21:00 Sundays - 13:45, 18:30, 20:00 or 21:00 This may vary slightly but best to plan on these times as check-in/baggage drop off is not flexible outside these times!! Check-In requires you be punctual please and organize your preferred time at least 24 hours prior to arrival. If not, only the evening check in times will be possible. * Late Check ins after 21:00 are not possible. Kindly plan accordingly. * NOTE: Only 20:00 or 21:00 are possible for check ins organized with less than 24 hour notice or same day bookings. ** CHECK OUT & Key return is by 11am at the latest on the day of departure. There are lockers at the Amsterdam Central train Station and some bike rental/luggage places in the city center should you need them to store luggage prior to check-in or after check out. ** For energy conservation: 10 minute hot water shower limit per day per person. I only have one guest room in my flat used for renting out so guests only share the apartment entrance and bathroom with one other person, myself. * I live on a separate wing of the apartment and am away often for work and sports so not home much . bathroom access has never been an issue for guests in the past. For light sleepers: The guest room has double-glass windows which make it almost silent when closed despite the street-view outlook. The room gets a lot of light during the day and there are black-out curtains for a sound-sleep. To note: for hygiene reasons I have a “no-shoe” policy in the flat.. should you wish to bring house socks/slippers with you. Other things to note Guidelines: The apartment and building are strictly non-smoking and non-drug use. This includes the rolling of weed and other substances inside the guest room. This is a residential building so guests are expected to be courteous and not play loud music/slam doors etc during the duration of their stay. Pets are not permitted. * It is not permitted to have guests/visitors inside the room or flat who are not the persons who have booked the room. This is for security and liability reasons. There are smoke bars/cafes in the area for entertainment. A euro 50 fine or higher depending on the circumstance will be billed to the guest by air bnb should the keys be lost, any of the house rules be broken; eg: drugs/weed/smoking etc in the room, loud noise/music or any room damage or stains. Bedding Arrangements: *** Normally the floor mattress is ONLY included free of charge in the airbnb rate when 3 people are staying as the extra bed is necessary. For 2 guests staying who prefer to sleep separately, it can be put in the room if requested at least 24 hours in advance of arrival . Please note there is a one-off euro 40 cash supplement for this service you will need to pay at check-in. * Breakfast is not included in the pricing. * INFANTS - if traveling with your baby/child/infants, you will need to book the room based on how many people there will be in total including adults and infants. Babies and/or Infants do not stay free of charge at my place!! Eg; 2 adults plus one child is a 3 person booking!
