The open plan barn is spacious with views of the Pyrenees from the first floor south facing french windows. The ground floor French windows provide fabulous light. There is a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed and 1 bunkbed underneath. There is a clic clac sofa on the ground floor. The simple kitchen is well equipped. The shower room is on the ground floor and there is also a separate toilet with a sink. The sleeping spaces are divided from the open plan spaces with curtains. The space The barn has been converted with light and space in mind. The living space is on the first floor with far reaching views to the Pyrenees.There are 2 sets of french windows, with safety rails which let in lots of sun and light. The original barn doors are used as shutters to keep the well insulated space cool in summer and warm in winter. There is a double bed on a mezzanine reached by spiral stair case, this area can be divided by curtains if you wish. There is a bunk bed under the mezzanine in an area which can also be divided by curtains. There are shelves and a large window in this sleeping space. There is also a Sofa bed on the ground floor living room and another large french window. And 2 comfortable chairs The kitchen is simple yet well equipped with a sink, a gas stove with oven and 4 gas rings, microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery, crockery, pans and cooking utensils. The shower room is on the ground floor and has a wooden floor, wc, shower and wash basin. Again small and simple but clean and bright. There is also a separate toilet with wash hand basin. The ground floor space has large french doors with the shower room and separate toilet at the rear. There is a small space here where you can sit outside if you wish but we think it’s much nicer on the first floor with the mountain views Guest access The barn is your space for your stay, you can sit outside the main doors if you wish . There are great views from the first floor from the large French Windows where you have a beautiful vista of the Pyrenees. Other things to note The check in instructions and information on how to find us is very clear and concise so that a self check in is extremely simple. These means you can arrive when you like after 4 pm on your arrival day. Please do not expect us to be there to see you in, the directions and the photos are all very clear so you can easily find the property , where to park and the key location. If you need any help please mes as I am not able to answer my phone very often but I will respond quickly to your written messages. There is lots of information in the property about the area and if you need any help please send us a message, we are always willing to help if we can. Sheets and towels can be provided for 10€ per person per stay. You can pay cash on arrival for these. There are square pillows and duvets provided in the property. Please do not use the pillows beds and duvets with out sheets , duvet covers and pillow cases as I will then have to have them washed and I will charge you for this (20€ per person) Lesparrou is a quiet village with a post office. We are on a street with no through access so there is only us and our friendly neighbors in this tranquil corner of the village. We back onto forests and have a beautiful river which you can walk along in both directions to our neighboring villages for a quiet coffee or beer and pick up your bread and pastries from 2 outstanding bakers.
