The house is within minutes of the coastal path, sandy haven beach, cycling path and the local pub. This home is the perfect place to dive into a thrilling adventure or get away from it all and just cozy up in front of the wood burning fire after a soak in the hot tub. The village itself is close to the popular Sandy Haven beach, which occupies a unique position on the Milford Haven waterway, an estuary forming a natural harbour popular with sailors and other watersport enthusiasts. Sandy Haven, which won a Seaside Award, is also part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal path and boasts excellent tidepooling/crabbing for budding explorers, a slipway, free parking and the beach is also dog friendly year round. Cartref Antur is undergoing a renewal after being thoroughly modernised in 2018 so you can expect a clean, comfortable home and we hope you will be delighted during your stay. You will also have full access to the secure garage for storage of your adventure equipment like bicycles, kayaks or even motorcycles. Our guests have had this to say about their experience at Cartref Antur The house accommodates 7 in the bedrooms and has a baby travel cot for your littlest one. Master Bedroom: 1 king bed Bedroom 2: 1 double bed Bedroom 3: 1 double bed and 1 single bed as a triple bunk. The top bed (single bunk) only suits children and is not for adults. We know that pillows can make or break your holiday so you can mix and match from our generous supply of soft to firm pillows, all of which are non-allergenic. There are 1.5 bathrooms, with the half bath located downstairs so it is easily accessible from the living area and hot tub. Lounge: Besides the wood burning fireplace there is a TV with streaming services you can log in to using your own account, Freeview and a super fast wifi connection. If you want to disconnect you can choose from several games or books. Your first basket of wood is included. Kitchen: All essential kitchen equipment, including a large 6 burner stove and double oven. If you love to cook you will enjoy this kitchen. Don't worry about clean-up - there's a dishwasher and a starter pack of tablets! Utility/Garage: Washer/Dryer and storage area for bikes, kayaks, motorbikes.... Kid Stuff: The house is equipped with all the essentials for traveling with small children. You will find a baby travel cot, 1 high chair, 1 toddler booster seat, kids cutlery and dishes, fire guard, gated hot tub area, and baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, as well as some toys and books. Dog Stuff: The house has the basic essentials for your four-legged friend including water and food bowls, space for a crate at the bottom of the stairs and a doggy gate - dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. Other things to note We live in Herbrandston so we are available if you have any issues or questions. Otherwise, the house is all yours. The local village has a lovely play park and pub at the sports field (The Hub). Milford Haven, where you will find grocery stores, is a five minute drive and the Milford Waterfront boasts a number of excellent restaurants and cafes. Milford Haven is also the home to a Golf club, the Torch Theatre for indoor entertainment. The rest of Pembrokeshire is easily accessible, including day trips to see the puffins, Dale with the award-winning Griffin Inn Pub, Broad Haven, Tenby and all of the adventure parks.
