Welcome to our Home Farm stay for relaxation in a rural urban setting 5 minutes to the heart of Chandigarh. The space Kanwal da Farm is an eco retreat that would give you a sense of the rural urban relaxation just 5 to 10 minutes from the heart of city. Even though we are just a few minutes from the city almost everyone who visits or stays with us mentions the relaxation and quiet they experience the moment they step through our gates. Which is good to have even with the occasional music and religious sermons filling the air that make for a fun rural experience. This is a personal residence in half an acre of land with vegetable garden and fruit trees that become a part of our menu to enjoy and 3 guest rooms available for a relaxed stay. Guest access Gardens to be enjoyed with squirrels, birds, dogs and other guests and residence. Living room with the view of the Shivalik hills, when our hedge is trimmed, makes for a relaxed cuppa tea as you enjoy your conversations with each other or work remotely or simply read a book. Don't we miss those long drawn conversations and stories of adventures had and cooking up new ones over delicious meals enjoyed with each other. That's not a lore of the past but a thing of the living on our Dining table. Your room during your stay is for your pleasures as you like it. The only rule we have is to take care of the things in there for others to come after you to enjoy. One of the things to know about living on a farm is that we live with other creatures of the Earth that might be looking for food. Even though they are harmless for you they might not know the etiquettes of nice bedspread or wood can be for furniture. Would you believe that? We highly recommend having all meals, even if you order from one of the many delicious places around, to enjoy them on the dining table. During your stay We enjoy having guests over as much as we know the gift of having that quiet time with yourself. We recommend you create this experience as one that honours you and everyone else staying at Kanwal da Farm. We are always there for any questions you might have to make your stay the best experience yet. Other things to note We would like your stay to be as delicious and different as your are. For that we offer on additional charges: - Airport Pick up and Drop - Kitchen: As this is a personal residence as well, access to the kitchen is not a part of common areas. However, we do have a menu you can request meals from during your stay. Lunch, Dinner, Tea & Snacks on request well in time for us to prepare as everything is made fresh to order as per our menu. Breakfast is included - Laundry & Dry Cleaning - Visitors - Your personal friends & guests upto 2 in number are welcome during the day for a visit. For more please talk to us.
