A spacious refrigerator, a brand new oven and stove, a dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, blender, dishes, silverware, pots and pans etc. is in the kitchen. Washing machine, tumble drier, hairdryer and bathtub. The sitting room has a television, a Petrof piano, wood burning stove and a retro full functioning Bang & Olufsen gramophone as well as a selection of records. The house is deliberately decorated with art work by some of Iceland's best artists. It has a unique soul and has thoughtfully been renovated and maintained. There is a store located on the ground floor. The full apartment space, located on two floors, is accessible to our guests. We are happy to give any recommendations or directions around the city! Reykjavik's main monument, Hallgrims-church, is located at the end of the street. The national gallery, new music hall, parliament and every other major attraction is a couple of minutes away. Many stores and restaurants next door. Two swimming pools are in walking distance. Many of the cities major attractions are in walking distance. The major bus stop, Lækjartorg, is 2 minutes away, from where bus lines to all parts of the city lie. 2 parking houses are located within 100 m radius. An airport shuttle to KEF airport runs hourly from Lækjartorg.
