On the ground floor, visitors are welcomed into a large wing where three adjoining reception rooms look onto the gardens and terrace. The decoration is unassuming and sophisticated throughout, perfectly blending contemporary designs with second-empire-style furniture and a few accent pieces, such as the baroque mirror on top of the mantelpiece at the far end of the reception room. Hard to miss, one of these rooms has a grand concert-grade Erhard piano. Also on this floor, guests will enjoy a formal dining room for 12 in perfect traditional style. You can enjoy a feast with your family and friends and let the rosso levanto marble mantelpiece, coffered ceilings, and chandelier transport to a forgone era. The large kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances, a smaller dining table, and a utility room. This level is completed by a separate TV room and a toilet. On the first floor, there are 6 large bedrooms, 5 of them have en-suite bathrooms and there is an extra dormitory room with 3 single beds (without A/C). On the second floor, there are 2 other double bedrooms, a large open playroom, a small bathroom and a shower room. Step outside to the south-facing terrace where you will find a covered dining area as well as a summer kitchen fully equipped with oven, stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, tableware, and large plancha. Continue wandering through the garden to find the large 15-meter-long swimming pool is surrounded by a stone terrace, fitted with plenty of deck chairs and loungers. The property has an old tennis court, rackets can be found in the house. There is a pétanque court (game of boules) next to the pool, a ping-pong table, and lots of board games and cards. For a longer walk, the house has direct access to the vineyards. Domaine de Gourjo is within a walking distance from the shops and the village of Clermont l’Hérault. A few kilometers away from Montpellier, Saint-Guilhem le Désert, Pézénas, Sète and Lac du Salagou, this property is the ideal location to discover the great cultural variety of “Terres d’Hérault” (e.g. sports, culture, oeno-tourism, etc.), an area which was officially designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2026. Parking for a few cars is possible on the property and bicycle rental is available just down the road. We are sorry to inform you that no evening weddings are possible anymore at the property, and that only lunch weddings for small parties are allowed.
