Ski/snowboard at Belleayre Ski Center or nearby Plattekill Mountain, hike the property and discover Emory Brook, visit local farmers’ markets, go fly fishing or tubing on the Esopus, or just relax, grill out and enjoy the fireplace. We want to share our cabin in the Catskills with you! The space Enjoy your own private Catskill mountainside chalet at Hillside Hideaway - less than 2.5 hours from NYC! Located on 14.5 acres of secluded land right off a quiet (and regularly plowed) country road. Hillside Hideaway is a central jumping off point from great dining, drinking, hiking, and celebrating: - Urban Cowboy, Mornings Cafe, Phoenicia Diner, Brushland Eating House - Arkville Brewstillery, West Kill Brewing, Bovina Farm & Fermentory - hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, foraging and other adventure options. For relaxing, the house has comfortable seating and beautiful french doors and windows galore, to let the sights and sounds of nature in. At the end of the day, enjoy conversation, drinks and board games in the Great Room while you grill out on the deck in the warmer months or, during colder months, stay warm and make s'mores by the fire in the Great Room. The Great Room opens into the dining room and the fully-equipped kitchen for meals and refills. While we encourage everyone take the opportunity to unplug - we do have high speed internet for those that want to work remotely (and use their lunch break to enjoy a nice hike in the woods) or to enjoy streaming TV. There is a TV in the living room area, and upstairs in the loft where you can watch from the King sized bed. Make yourself at home at Hillside Hideaway! Guest access Guests have access to all of the house and property except the basement. Other things to note We have a universal EV charger that will charge both non-Tesla's and Tesla style plug-in. No need to bring an adapter - the integrated J1772 adapter will help conveniently charge any electric vehicle.
