Welcome to The Walnut Studio - a modern studio with ensuite shower room, kitchenette and private deck with outdoor seating. This is the perfect base for your Raglan getaway. Located on a quiet lane, tucked away but in a central location - a short drive to town and the local surf. All you need to do is relax and enjoy everything that Raglan has to offer. The space The studio has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and kitchenette with kettle, toaster and fridge. There is a sliding door onto private deck with wooden chairs and canopy shade. The room is fitted with an electric heater and ceiling fan for comfort year round. Linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, hairdryer all provided. The kitchenette is stocked with local fresh coffee, a selection of teas and milk. Please note there is only a kettle, toaster and bar fridge in the kitchenette so not suitable for cooking meals. There is no TV in the studio but there is WiFi with unlimited data. The studio is attached to the rear of our garage, but separate to the main house. We live on site with our children, and there are other children in the neighbourhood, so you may hear kids playing outside especially in the summer. Please read through all the details in Things to Note below which gives more information about what to expect at the studio. Guest access Guests will have access to the guest suite, private deck, private ensuite bathroom plus carparking for one car. Other things to note Off street parking on our driveway for one car. Additional cars can be parked on the street at the top of the lane. Please be mindful when parking on the street to not block access to any driveways. All linen and towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tea, coffee and milk are included in the nightly charge. The studio is located in a residential area so we request no excessive noise. This is a family neighbourhood so there may be children around on the lane during the day. The studio is a compact but stylishly designed space. There is no table/chairs/sofa in the studio but there are wooden cape cod chairs on the deck to sit and enjoy your tea/coffee/beer/wine. There is no TV in the studio. There is unlimited wifi so feel free to bring your devices if you wish to watch TV or stream a movie. There are no cooking facilities. There is a bar fridge and facilities to make tea/coffee/toast. But there is no stove or microwave. There is no air conditioning but the studio is fitted with a ceiling fan to help keep cool during the hot summer months. The studio is attached to our garage but separate to the main house where we live. We respectfully ask to keep the studio and property Smoke Free. Or if you do not have any we have a shopping bag, keep cups and cutlery set to borrow during your stay, when you head into town for coffee and kai.
