Fully furnished cozy one bedroom (full size bed) upstairs "cabin" apt., twin air mattress under the bed if needed. We do have wifi, but I'm told that the signal is weak. I'm not tech savvy and have tried to remedy to no avail. This is a fully furnished cozy one bedroom (full size bed) "cabin apartment over our 4 car garage. A twin size air mattress is also available. We are located in Grand Ledge, MI, famous for our "ledges", close to restaurants, shopping, the state capitol and parks. Lansing is a 15 minute drive, MSU is 22 minutes. When you arrive, your parking spot is centered between the 2 garage doors near the service entrance (under the "Fleming" sign). I will send you the door code a day before your arrival. Come all the way through the garage. Your door is the cherry wood door on the left. It will be unlocked with a key and instructions on the table. We are a busy family and will be coming and going. Your cabin will be just for you. If you need anything or have any questions, I will do my best to accommodate. We may or may not actually see each other depending on schedules. This apartment is over our garage, so you will hear the garage doors if you are in the apartment. My husband and nephews from time to time are puttering around in the garage working on vehicles. To date, this activity has not interfered with guests enjoyment. We live in a wonderful tree lined neighborhood with sidewalks. Neighbors are always riding their bikes or going for walks and playing outside. The "Ledges", Oak Park, Lincoln Brick Park, Fitzgerald Park, Jaycee Park, The Opera House, The Island are some of the popular places of interest. Getting around is easy. You can walk from our neighborhood all the way to downtown Grand Ledge if you want. Lots of people do. All the streets have sidewalks. All the parks listed are within .5 to 4 miles. All walkable from the Cozy Cabin. Everything in the "cabin" is for your use and enjoyment. When you come in for the night, lock the garage door and turn off the exterior lights. NOTE: During the summer months if the temperatures get above 95 deg. and/or humidity is high, the bedroom may be to warm for some while the main living area stays comfortable. There are ceiling fans and floor fans, when placed strategically, help mediate this issue. IF this is a concern, check the weather before coming at least 5 days before your arrival that way you will not be penalized for cancellation. Upon departure: 1) Strip bed sheets and pillow cases and leave in bedroom. 2) toss used towels in the tub. 2) wash dishes (okay to leave drying on the counter). 3) if using AC or heat: adjust AC to 78 in summer or (heat to 60 in winter) 4) leave key on the table. 5) toss garbage in the ALL brown garbage receptacle in the garage on your way out. Recycle goes in the receptacle with the yellow lid.
