Rusland Valley View Family Cottage

The Lake District and our new one/two bedroom family cottage is all you need for a perfect getaway and holiday. We are located in the beautiful, quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for outdoor holidays. It has all the amenities you would require and is perfectly located to explore as much of the area as you desire. The space The whole cottage has been designed to feel as warm, comfortable and space efficient as possible to give our guests an unforgettable experience. Our recently completed one/two bedroom cottage provides you with your own home-from-home experience. On the ground floor, there is a guest toilet in the hallway, and the modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and all required dishes, pots/pans, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The table has seating for 4 people. Up the first flight of stairs is the lounge where we have provided a 4 person sofa and 50" smart TV with Freeview, Netlix and on demand TV! There is extra cushioned seating on the windowsill. The fireplace is currently not available for guest use, with automatic central heating keeping the house and water hot. Above the lounge lies the master bedroom and main bathroom. The bedroom features a king size bed and large wardrobe for ample storage, with a view of The Valley. The bathroom has a full size bath with shower capability, toilet, sink and bathroom cabinet. Guest access You will have access to the cottage, and free off-road parking will be provided for 1 or 2 cars. You will be able to store bicycles at your own risk behind our garage. There is a patio in front of the cottage and you will have access to the garden behind the house with a full patio featuring a garden table and chairs set at your disposal. Other things to note Covid Update: During these times, guest safety is our upmost priority, so to adhere to the updated AirBnb Covid cleaning policy and to keep our guests minds at ease, we have a minimum of 1 full day between guests to allow us to sterilise and perform a full deep clean of the property. - There is poor mobile signal, but Wi-Fi is provided. - There is no public transport so you will require a car. - Please do not use the grill function of the oven as this has a tendency to set off the fire alarm. - As this is a self catering accommodation, please ensure you bring enough supplies and provisions. We will provide small quantities of salt, pepper, tea and coffee. There are a few pubs a short drive from the property. The nearest store is in Hawkshead 5 miles away, with the nearest large town in Ulverston 10 miles away.
