Minnow Cottage

Minnow Cottage is a beautiful 200 year old Cotswold cottage set on a little stream in the charming and quirky village of Chalford . Although petite in stature, the cottage oozes character with low ceilings and beams and has all the qualities needed if you are looking for a rural retreat or romantic break. There is a village shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk. The property has its own parking and all the amenities to make it a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. The space Minnow Cottage is a three story detached cottage , with ample parking and a private garden. It's great for walkers with the Cotswold canal a stones throw away. With pretty gardens front and rear you'll be able to enjoy the idyllic waterside location and abundance of wildlife that inhabit the valley. Guest access You have the use of the entire cottage , parking and gardens. We live a 5 minute drive away so you will have total privacy but if you need us for anything we are not too far away. Other things to note The cottage is over 200 years old and back then the average height of a person was a lot less than it is today! So be warned some of the beams in the cottage are quite low, particularly in the kitchen. If you are over 6 foot tall this may become a problem for you
