Sanitized Homestay in a premier neighbourhood

Welcome to the City of Joy!! Our comfortable home-stay is in one of South Kolkata’s most peaceful and preferred residential neighbourhoods. The ground floor apartment is off Southern Avenue near the Ramkrishna Mission and Chapter 2 restaurant. The Dhakuria Lakes also called the Rabindra Sarobar, one of the city's "lungs" and greenest areas, is across the road. The space The freshly-renovated, bright and airy ground floor apartment has two air-conditioned bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a living cum dining area, a large lobby and a modern well-equipped kitchen. There are also two balconies which make the apartment even more well-ventilated. The gated property comes with private parking. The two bedrooms have a double bed in each. There is also a pull-out sofa in the living room which can sleep two adults. Freshly-laundered bed linen, blankets and towels are provided. The bed linen and towels will be changed every four (4) days, if your stay is a long one. The kitchen is equipped with basic cookware, crockery, cutlery, a gas stove, an induction cooker, a blender, a microwave, toaster, fridge and water purifier. There is a washing machine installed in one of the balconies. The apartment is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly everyday. We use sodium hypochlorite for cleaning the floors as well as surfaces. The bathrooms are cleaned meticulously as well. A gap of 24 hours is kept between guests to ensure a high level of sanitization. Basic pantry items like tea, coffee, sugar, milk, rice, lentils and condiments and cooking oil are provided. There is daily complimentary cleaning service, around 10 am everyday. Should you require additional services like chopping vegetables, cooking, making tea or getting supplies, please let us know in advance. These services would be chargeable on a per diem basis. Guests should arrange their own washing machine detergent suitable for automatic top load machine and operate the machines themselves. Should you request the maid to handwash your clothes, please provide her with washing soap. This is an additional service and so we request that you tip her for it. **We have, recently, installed an AC in the living room** Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. If you need help with anything, we are a phone call away. Other things to note While guests are welcome to entertain their friends and family, we recommend that you do not invite strangers inside the apartment. Outside visitors (other than the guests booked for the stay) are not allowed to stay in the apartment. Verification: For Indian guests -- Valid photo ID (Aadhaar card, Driver's Licence, or Passport, all in English) of each guest must be scanned and sent after booking and before arrival. For overseas guests, a valid passport and Indian visa of each guest must be scanned and sent after booking and before arrival. Originals should be available when checking in. Tariffs: - The listed tariffs are for short stays - Additional guests tariff Rs.500 per day. - For stays beyond a week, we would be happy to discuss discounts depending on the length of stay and number of occupants. Safety: - In the interest of safety, please lock the apartment door on entry and exit. If you are unsure how to do so, feel free to call. - Switch off electrical appliances such as air conditioners, water heaters, lights and fans, when not in use for safety and energy conservation. - In the kitchen, turn off the gas stove, induction cooker and all appliances after use for safety reasons. Cleaning: Please allow housekeeping staff to clean the apartment. We encourage daily cleaning of the apartment. The maid will come in around 9:30 am each day. The apartment will be cleaned the following day, if it is locked when she comes in.
