A Jungle House: Riverside Retreat w natural pool

We will need a week’s notice for all new bookings. This is a peaceful riverside property with native style house and a natural pool all to yourself. It has a loft sleeping area (upstairs) with 1 shower,2 toilets downstairs. Amidst trees and flowering greenery which exude solitude and plenty of opportunity for relaxation. River access is a few steps away! Search us on Youtube. No “day use”. Book the whole place even if you don’t stay the night. Check in is 2 pm, out by 10am the next day. The space Expect to be surrounded by nature in this riverside retreat with PRIVATE natural spring plunge pool. Our JUNGLE HOUSE®️ is native style which provides for cool comfort since there is always a great breeze coming from the mountain. Perfect for couples who seek a romantic getaway, families, and a small group of friends to spend time together, with an open floor plan and spacious loft sleeping area. The loft has a queen sized bed with a pull out double bed. There’s only one shower so 4 people sharing may be an issue for some, but book if it isn’t! There are two private toilets so that’s a plus right? Just don’t flush anything down the toilet or that will ruin your fun. We do have 4 floor mattresses if needed for the adventurous who are all for roughing it. Bring extra bedding/ sleeping bags if you’re more than 4 in the group. We have a basic open kitchen to cook basic meals with a small fridge ( bigger than a personal fridge). Cookware is available with plates, glasses, utensils, kettle, French press, rice cooker. Bring extra pots/pans, plates and utensils for bigger groups. Bring your favorite course ground coffee if you feel like having a cup. We provide drinking water from a 5 gallon dispenser. This is a private rest house in an almost acre sized property. Humble accommodations. Not luxurious but we love this place. A little slice of paradise nestled in the jungle practically. With that said, the jungle does have critters that go with the territory. Bring your insect repellents! Native style hut with BBQ set up out back. Guest access Guests may use the pool, kitchen and hut outside the main house. We’ve been getting inquiries about DAY USE option. You may do that if you don’t want to stay the night but the same fees apply. Other things to note The house is self contained, but you will need to stock up on supplies before heading up to Jungle House®️. The best thing would be to stop at the central market in Valencia town center to get some food and bottled water if you prefer, but our tap water is potable and we provide filtered water as well. Bring some ground coffee as we have a French press available. Access to the river is by 2 gates on the Banica River side of the property. Walk towards it from the side door of the main house. If you need help, the caretaker can guide you to it. The house itself is native style and made of wood and other natural materials, so expect some wood insects. Spray insect repellent generously. Upkeep can be extensive at times with insects around. Expect birds, butterflies and insects feeding off the plants. The pool is naturally fed from the river and is cold. No option to heat it. It is the Philippines and it can be really hot and humid and the cold river water can be really refreshing on these days.
