It is located about 20 minutes from Juan Santamaria airport and one kilometer from the quaint plaza in San Joaquin. It is not a fancy neighborhood - for that you should stay in Escazu. Adriana built the house to be next to family - all of whom will welcome you to their country and are friendly and helpful. The house is secure, the neighborhood is safe, there are cheap taxis to take you to Walmart (four kilometers), Automarcado (one kilometers. Looking for long term tenant (6 months plus). $1000/month all utilities included. Need a reliable, clean tenant for this wonderful house. You will receive a detailed welcome email with directions/map to the house in English and Spanish (great for taxis). You'll be greeted by a family member who will show you the house and give you the keys and front gate opener. You'll have access to high speed internet, wifi, Cable Tica and a Vonage phone - great for calling any number in the states and having them call you. We use Airbnb a lot ourselves and believe in protecting the privacy of our guests. You'll have detailed instructions by email together with phone numbers to reach someone in San Joaquin (they live next door) and ourselves in the states. It's a genuine Costa Rican neighborhood. Though you are located less than one kilometer from the old homes of downtown San Joaquin de Flores, the immediate neighborhood is not fancy at all. It is friendly and safe with kids playing on the street and the sounds of people cooking. It is very safe and people are remarkably friendly. The house itself is being an electric gate and very private. Buses are convenient and there is a taxi stand located nearby. You'll be provided with the taxi stand number and one will be in front of the house within five minutes. They are very cheap. Oh and the twenty minute ride to and from the main airport will cost you about 15,000 colons ($30) including tip. Nearest beach is 1.5 hours away. Guests need to sign a rental agreement prior to checking in. Maid service provided for stays of one week or more. Guest access Electric door opener and keys. Guests can make unlimited free calls to (and from) the states using the Vonage phone. Cable TV, Internet and wifi provided as well as all linens. And a welcome basket!
