The most cozy little house in Penedo, located in Sítio Paratiisi, with a beautiful view of the lake, at the “foot” of Pico do Penedinho, surrounded by nature. Check-in: from 2 p.m. onwards Check-out: 11 a.m. The space A super charming and equipped house, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one internal and one external), TV room, 2 kitchens (one internal and one external) and a balcony with 3 hammocks and a table with benches. In the bedrooms and living room, we have wall fans, a TV in the living room with a cable TV set, and a TV in the bedroom with a DVD player. We also provide bedding, blankets and bath towels, offering guests one more comfort and one less worry. The house has Wi-Fi and also magazines, some books and DVD movies for guests to have the best experience possible. In the kitchens, we have all the appliances and utensils (pots, cutlery, glasses, etc.), including wine glasses and cheese and chocolate fondue pots, in case you want to enjoy the coolness and the charm of the mountain to eat a fondue at home and drink a good wine. We have 2 refrigerators, a stove, air purifier, microwave, mixer, blender, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee maker and even a Dolce Gusto espresso coffee maker. In the outdoor wood-burning stove kitchen, we have iron pots for cooking, as well as a cloth coffee strainer, for those who want to cook and have a coffee with a farmhouse flavor. In the backyard, we have a small private pool and a fire pit to light a bonfire and roast marshmallows. The "Casinha do Lago" is located in Sítio Paratiisi, a property with 52,000 m² of native forest and, as the name in Finnish says, it is a "paradise" located next to Pico do Penedinho, at the end of Harry Bertell Street, just 1500 meters from Casa do Chocolate in Penedo. Our site is just 200 meters from Pico do Penedinho, one of the most visited sights in Penedo. It was part of the old Penedo Farm, the place that gave rise to the Finnish Colony. Sítio Paratiisi is a very quiet place, surrounded by lots of greenery and mountains, yet very close to the main street (Casa do Chocolate) and the center of Penedo. The site has a lake with pet fish (yes, pet tambaquis), which are a hit with all who visit it. It also has cows, a horse, dogs and cats, which are part of this beautiful setting. The birds live free and the parrots are a constant presence in the trees. For those who like to stay in a beautiful and relaxing place, with the sound of birds and the green of nature, in a super cozy house and with 10-star hosts, this is the perfect place. We provide a portable barbecue, skewers and grill so you can have a family barbecue in the backyard of the house. And there is also a fire pit in the backyard of the house, where people love to roast marshmallows and enjoy good conversation around the fire. The other areas of the site are for the exclusive use of the owners and are not open or free to guests. We kindly ask you to stay in the space and backyard of the house itself. Other things to note **WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS!** This house comfortably accommodates 6 people: 2 in each bedroom and 2 more on the sofa bed in the living room. We provide 1 extra single mattress for a seventh guest if needed. Due to the mountains, the cellular signal at Sítio Paratiisi is weak, but the headquarters has Wi-Fi and the internet and WhatsApp work well inside and in the backyard of the house. For coffee lovers, there is a Dolce Gusto espresso machine, a regular coffee maker and a cloth strainer for straining and making coffee. We've created a special “coffee corner” for our guests. Be sure to bring your favorite coffee capsules or even your favorite coffee powder to brew that farm-flavored coffee. Our space also features magazines, books, and DVD movies for guests to enjoy. And the house also has Wi-Fi, 2 TVs, a DVD player and a TV set with more than 230 channels, movies and TV series. What a delight to read a book on the balcony hammock or even watch your favorite series in this cozy “Lake House.” There are also wall fans in the bedrooms and living room, although the house is quite cool and airy.
