Glenlynn Farm Cottages - Jarrah Cottage

Jarrah Cottage is one of the 4 cottages at Glenlynn Farm Cottages, a small farmstay, 5km south of beautiful Bridgetown, WA. All our cottages sleep 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, wood fire and bbq on the private balcony overlooking our stunning 6 acre lake. Glenlynn is a working farm with opportunities to meet and feed our horse, donkey, cows, sheep, lambs, goats and chickens. We are dog friendly and there are a number fantastic forest walk trails from the cottages. The space Jarrah Cottage is a chalet-style single level cabin. It has a kitchen, dining, living area with tv, wood fire and couches. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, 4 burner gas stove top, all crockery, glassware and cutlery. (Please note: only Jarrah and Sheoak Cottages have an oven) Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, toilet paper, tea towels, dishwashing liquid and hand soap are provided. All linen and towels are provided. The main bedroom has a queen bed overlooking the spectacular view of the lake and the trees. The second bedroom has two bunk beds , this room faces towards the paddock and you will often see Hoofy (our horse) or Murphy (our donkey) waiting at the fence for their morning pat! The bathroom contains a shower and sink. The separate toilet is off the laundry which has a full-size laundry sink, large washing machine and airer. The most popular spot is the private balcony which overlooks the 6 acre lake (or dam as we call it). There is a bbq and comfortable outdoor seating to sit back, relax, enjoy the serenity and the view! Guests have shared use of the grassed area in front of the cottages which goes right down to the lake/dam. At the lake/dam there is a beautiful large grassy area where guests can walk, play, picnic. There is a gazebo with fridge, tables and chairs, sink and a large bbq, ideal for groups staying in the cottages. The spectacular dam is the centre point of our property. It provides a cool place to relax under the shady trees in the summer and reflects the wonderful colours in Autumn and Spring. In Winter our cosy cottage fires and outdoor fire pits keep you warm and toasty. You are free to roam and explore the farm, feed and interact with the animals at any time.
