Snickaren Hostel Grästorp - Private Attic

The carpenter has a lot of family history and belongs to the oldest houses in Grästorp. We have renovated the old and new style house in 2021. We rent out a loft and there is a bedroom (2 beds), kitchen, common room, shower and toilet. We can put two extra beds for children in the alcoves. No animals are allowed. You can enjoy the large garden with fruit trees and berry bushes. You can also settle into our outdoor furniture and use the barbecue or rest in the hammock. Soccer and swing are available. Playground just across the street The space The Carpenter is a house built in 1929 that we, Kria, Pär and I Gunnel bought in 2018. The carpenter has a lot of family history and belongs to the oldest houses in Grästorp. Unfortunately, the house has been decaying for many years but now we have renovated the facade with the help of an older bricklayer with a lot of knowledge about old houses. We have also with the help of local craftsmen and own work renovated the apartments in the house and also the basement. But we have done it in a mixture of new and old. We hire out a loft. You get a private entrance with a bedroom, common room, kitchen, shower and toilet. We have renovated an old breeze, where we kept the buckle cloth, brought out all the wooden floors, taken down walls and built up new ones. In the basement you can study the cheese layer with scales and accounting box. There was a movement in the 1950s. There is also a shelter there. In the basement there are also washing machines and dryers that you can borrow for free. You can enjoy the large garden with fruit trees and berry bushes that you can pick freely from. You can also sit down in our outdoor furniture and use the barbecue. You can play kubb, football, throw arrows, etc. Guest access You have your own access to the entire loft with a bedroom, kitchen, common room , shower, toilet and two alcoves. In the living room there is a large screen where you can connect your computer/mobile via chromecast. For the children there are board games, puzzles, comic books, mandalas. You share the laundry room that's in the basement. Also the garden is shared with the guests on floors 1 and 2. We invite all guests for coffee and tea.
