Admittedly, the cottage has been modernized several times to date: only the half-timbered building, thatched roof and the hall are reminiscent of what once was. After all, it is still regularly consulted by many animal visitors, as a small animal practice is attached to the building. Our vacation home has a total of seven apartments with a total of 22 beds. Together with the common hall, the cellar bar, the game room (with foosball and billiard table), the garden with barbecue area and the laundry room, it is therefore also particularly suitable for groups over a longer period of time. Apartment: Apartment a is the twin of apartment b, they are mirror-inverted but furnished in the same way. This apartment is on two floors, on the first floor there is a living area with a kitchenette and the bathroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a double bed and a children's bedroom with a bunk bed. In the latter there is also a fold-out baby cot and a changing table. Mobility is a must, as the upper and lower floors are connected by a spiral staircase! To compensate, the apartment has a terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and a parasol. With an area of 12 km², it is the second largest inland lake in Lower Saxony and a central element of the Dümmer-Weserland, which is characterized by moors and a diverse flora and fauna. While spring and summer offer many leisure activities such as beach holidays, sailing and cycling, autumn belongs to cranes and birdwatchers. And in winter, with a bit of luck, you can skate on the Dümmer! Don't worry, the lake is not deep: just one meter on average. Guest access You rent an independent apartment with its own bathroom and kitchen. For all apartments together there is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. There is also a garden that guests can share (only apartments A, B and D have direct access, but of course all other guests can also go into the garden). In the vacation home, there is also a hall and a basement bar, which serve as group rooms for group bookings.
