Pfaffenbronn is a small, quiet hamlet in northern Alsace, situated between the beautiful town of Wissembourg and the picturesque village of Lembach, 30 km from Haguenau and 50 km from Strasbourg. The space On the ground floor, the house has a living room with sofa, footstool, bench, coffee table, television (satellite, DVD player) and wifi (fibre). In the wardrobe, you can use a washing machine and a hoover if needed. On the forest side, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner ceramic hob, a dishwasher, an oven, a fridge-freezer. On the first floor there is a bathroom renovated in 2022 with shower, toilet and washbasin. A master bedroom with double bed 160x200 and built-in wardrobes. On the landing, which can be closed with two curtains, there is storage furniture and the possibility of one single bed 140x200. On the 2nd floor, a bedroom with 2 single beds, ideal for two children. Access to the second floor is via a Japanese staircase (children must be supervised when using the stairs). Guest access Individual housing, all housing is for you. If you have a dog, it mustn't be aggressive and mustn't be left untied in the garden to avoid going into the neighbors. There are privacy hedges between the houses. Other things to note A deposit of 100 euros is required. New for February 2023: we have installed a wood-burning stove for your convenience, which you can use at no extra charge. Bed linen and towels provided at no extra charge. Cleaning fee of 80 euros. Dog 35 euros per stay. The bathroom was completely renovated in March 2022. The region is very touristy and there are numerous castles to visit (e.g. Visit Fleckenstein), works on the Maginot Line (Four-à-chaux, Schoenenbourg, Simserhof, air-raid shelter of Hatten...), the citadel Vauban de Bitche, the farm Outre-Forêt (Kutzenhausen), attraction parks (Didi Land, Europapark), picturesque villages with half-timbered houses (Seebach, Hunspach... ), museums (Woerth, Reichshoffen, Haguenau, Strasbourg, Wissembourg), cinemas (Brumath, Haguenau), the casino in Niederbronn, open-air swimming pools (Dahn, Drachenbronn, Niederbronn, Haguenau... ), zoos (Silz, Sainte-Croix...), the Karlsruhe zoo, alpine and cross-country skiing in the Black Forest (Herrenwies, Melsikopf), hiking trails (Vosges Club hiking trail starting from the residence), wine tastings at the Cleebourg wine cellar, two very good bakeries in the village of Lembach, and excellent restaurants (upscale cuisine at Cheval Blanc, classic cuisine with tartes flambées in Pfaffenbronn, Lembach, Wissembourg, Niederbronn).
