Typical Swedish vacation home, Stuga - Smaland

I rent out a small cottage in Smaland (36495 Älghult). It is only a few hundred meters from the lake where there is a beautiful, child-friendly swimming area. Fishing is also possible in this and other nearby lakes. There is only one other house across the street, but it is only inhabited in summer. The house is about 50 m² and sleeps 4 people (2 double beds). It is lovingly decorated, we live in it ourselves! The space The cottage has a living room with a fireplace, 2 small bedrooms (one of which is a passage room between the kitchen and living room), a kitchen and a toilet (only toilet and hand washbasin in the house!) The shower (with hot water) is in the unheated outdoor house, so the shower can only be used from May, when there are no more sub-zero temperatures. During the winter, only the toilet and the hand washbasin in the house can be used. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator (icebox is in the shed), stove-wood stove, electric hotplate with 2 fields, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, egg cooker. All rooms (except the toilet) are equipped with blackout blinds, which provide the necessary darkness for sleeping during the short Swedish summer nights. All rooms are equipped with electric radiators. There is a portable stereo system (CD / radio / USB). Bed linen is on site. In the garden there is a small campfire, garden furniture and hammock are also provided. We also have a garden shower in the garden, which even has hot water! Guest access The entire house, outhouse and garden are available to you! Other things to note It's a very old house, which I think is very nice, but you have to like it. This is also associated with a low ceiling height and especially low door frames. So tall people have to duck their heads here every now and then.
