The space Hedgerow Barn is Grade II listed and has been beautifully converted to retain its original features. The studded beam work is all exposed, and it offers a large open plan living space with all the facilities you would expect. The Barn offers rustic period charm with 21st century living. Many of the furnishings are antique. There are two TVs, one concealed behind the cupboard doors above the fireplace in the living area with a DVD player and an Amazon fire stick' and the other is in the upstairs double bedroom. There is a very efficient electric heating system with an independent thermostat for every room. The Barn is well equipped for self catering with many cooking utensils, gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster, undercounter fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. To minimise the provisions you need to bring the following are all provided in the Barn: Muesli, Cornflakes, 1.5 litres milk, tea, green or herbal tea, coffee ( freeze dried instant and cafetière if you want to bring ground coffee) black pepper, salt and olive oiled vinegar. the bathrooms have shower gel, shampoo and soap at every basin. You will also find kitchen roll, dustbin liners and all washing up equipment, including dishwasher tablets. It is also possible for guests to charge electric cars using a 13amp plug from the Barn. Well behaved dogs are welcome at Hedgerow Barn at a cost of £10 for their stay. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate Cats or other pets. Guest access Hedgerow Barn sits in a 5 acre site and is detached from our property. Guests are welcome to use our walk around the horse paddock, and enjoy the garden. There are many mature trees and some fruit trees, from which, when in season, guests are welcome to help themselves. Guests are provided with their own outside sitting area and plenty of parking. Please note that THE SWINGS ARE SUITABLE FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN ONLY not for adults and older children. Other things to note In the light of recent new fire legislation our risk assessor has highlighted that the Barn is sadly not suitable for those requiring a wheelchair, or for some people with limited mobility as there is a small step up to the entrance door and a step down to the downstairs bedroom. There is an antiques gallery on site which guests can look around. There are free range chickens on site, but for guests (or their dogs) who would prefer not to interact with them, we can keep them confined in their stable.
