Balranald View - a Hebridean haven.
Description
Escape to the western tip of North Uist, looking out over the RSPB site towards the Atlantic and the distant isles of Heisger and St Kilda. A peaceful retreat with en-suite accommodation and hand crafted details. You have a choice of beautiful beaches to explore, places to eat delicious local food or just staying close to home and watching the wildlife from short eared owls to herds of deer. The space The house is warm and comfortable, with excellent light and views from every window. There is a great sense of privacy as all the bedrooms are ensuite and the house is not overlooked. Two dining areas and a comfortable lounge mean that there is also plenty of space to enjoy one another's company. There are a range of hand crafted items by myself, my family and local artists. The garden is enclosed and safe for children and dogs. Guest access The property is just off the coast road so very quiet. You really need a car or a bike to get around. There is ample parking space. Other things to note We recommend that guests take out travel insurance for this trip as travel to and from the islands can be affected by weather and transportation issues.
