We are located in the quiet village of Bridge around 3 miles from the historic city of Canterbury. Our village is a great base for country walks in the Kent Downs with plenty of local amenities (and pubs!) or for a visit into Canterbury for it's history and vibrant nightlife. Watling House is perfect for families or groups of friends with free parking at the property. Watling House sits over three floors and is perfect for a relaxing trip to the countryside. Whether you are entertaining in the open living / dining areas or relaxing by the fire, you will have everything you need for a great stay! Visit the Cathedral, Canterbury Tales and the historic city walls. - You can nip up to London on the UK's first highspeed service from Canterbury West (approx 55 mins) or a day trip to France (approx 20 mins from the Port of Dover and the Channel Crossing). We haven't been able to list all of the great things to do in the area but can always tell you more... we would recommend a trip to one of the local Kentish vineyards for some famous English Fizz!
