The charming room features a spacious balcony/terrace, perfect for a spot of sunbathing. The space The charming room has a spacious walk out terrace on the 1st floor, with a perfect view of the nut tree in the garden and gets a glimpse of the mountains in the background. This is the perfect place to unwind on a warm summer evening. Each morning you’re invited across the courtyard to enjoy a hearty traditional Austrian breakfast buffet, in our cozy farm tavern or out on the terrace under the majestic walnut tree. Features: - Box spring bed (200 x 180 cm) with high quality mattresses, topper and anti-allergenic bedding - also available as a twin bed - Desk - Internet TV - Bathroom with shower and WC - Hair dryer - Balcony terrace - Free Wi-Fi - Black-out blinds for a good sleep Guest access Guests can use the garden and playground. The cozy farm-tavern with a beautiful ambiance under the walnut tree is open for breakfast. There is also a lounge at the "Salettl" with an open-air bar and a terrace in the orchard, which is open to guests on certain evenings. The Orchard Terrace, with its private south-facing location, offers a unique view of the river Mattig and the forest below. Guests are also welcome to borrow a set of bowls to watch the sunset over a game of “bawls” on our bawls pitch. During your stay We live on the farm and are happy to assist you during your stay with recommendations for activities and day-trip destinations. We are Austrian-Irish and will be able to assist you in English. You are also welcome to get an insight into the work on the farm and our project to redesign the farm along the principles of permaculture. Our children Elliot and Robin are also happy to be playmates for your children. Other things to note The apartment is located in the main building of the farm, where there are also other types of accommodation. The rich breakfast buffet with products from our own farm or regional producers is served daily in the farm-tavern. If breakfast is not included in the price, this can be booked at a price of 15 EUR. On the farm, we have happy free-range chickens laying happy eggs! In the summer months we produce homemade treats from our own fruits. There are also bread baking courses. For animal lovers there are rabbits and cats. We are currently in the process to build a petting zoo for ponies, sheep, and goats. Cows, geese and pigs will soon be moving to the farm with the new farm concept. But it will take some time, because even Rome was not built in a day :).
