Welcome to VILLA MENIES, a large villa with inviting patios and breathtaking vistas in the traditional village of Rodopou, 5 kms from Kolymbari beach, a short drive from the famous beaches of Balos, Falassarna, Elafonisi and 30 min from Chania city. It offers full privacy and all the modern comforts in 3 spacious bedrooms,2 bathrooms,a fully equipped kitchen,a playground, gardens with herbs and vineyards. The space THE VILLA FACILITIES Set on a hillside in the centre of Rodopou village in Chania, Villa Menies is a large traditional Cretan house that can accommodate up to 6 people. The house has got several patios in different levels, where while sunbathing, one can admire the magnificent views over the village and the mountains. On the ground floor, there is a spacious sitting/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine, a coffee maker, a toaster and all the kitchen utensils needed to prepare your meals. Our quests can also relax on the comfortable sofas enjoying T.V. programmes on the satellite T.V. next to the cozy fireplace during cooler nights. The firewood is provided free of charge. For our younger quests, there are books, toys, as well as a high chair for their meals and a baby cod available. On the ground floor, there is also a second sitting room, that offers peace and quietness for those who want to stay connected on the internet and work on their laptop, a bedroom with twin beds and a large bathroom with a cabin. A pretty wooden staircase rises out of the living room, leading to the first floor, where there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and air conditioners and a bathroom with a bathtub and a washing machine. There is also a furnished balcony with a panoramic view of the village. A second bathroom with a shower is also available on this level. There is also a blow dryer, an iron, an iron board available for our quests. On the upper garden, there is a playground for our little quests with swings and a big slide decorated with Disney cartoons. All patios are furnished with garden furniture and sunbeds, so our quests can relax outdoors and enjoy the views and the aromas of the flowers and the plants . Our gardens are full of herbs, trees with lemons, apricots, vineyards that you are welcome to try its fruit or use when cooking your own meals. Villa Menies is ideal for people who seek to spend a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city and be close to nature.
