Cozy historical cottage on edge of Ashdown Forest
Description
This Grade 2 listed cottage has been restored to a high standard, having once almost been a ruin. Set on the edge of the Ashdown forest this cottage is now a cozy, country retreat with a secure garden at the back and a small paddock and river belonging to the cottage. Look out for the carvings on the fireplace dating back over 200 years but also enjoy the brand new kitchen and fab huge shower! The space The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one which has a king size bed, that can be converted in to 2 singles, with a trundle bed as well. The second bedroom has a standard double and the third has a single. This is a really old cottage so the stairs are quite steep and the house is on 3 floors. There is plenty parking outside. Other things to note The area is great to visit any time of year. From spring lambs to visit, to summer open gardens, the colours of autumn or a base to visit the Christmas lights in London.
