The space Marias Apartments Donousa consist of 3 new apartments of 4 people , fully equipped. They are located in a picturesque Cycladic alley of Donoussa Chora. Our apartments are two-room ideal for families but also for couples who want a little bigger space. They have a separate bedroom with a double comfortable bed, a living room with two sofas that become single beds , a seating area with a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning bathroom and a balcony with a view . Free WiFi internet is provided to our customers as well as street parking. Built according to the Cycladic architecture, they welcome you in a warm environment with authentic island hospitality and a family atmosphere. Donoussa is the northernmost island of the Small Eastern Cyclades. It is located 10 miles north of Amorgos and east of Naxos. It has regular boat service to Naxos, the rest of the Small Cyclades Koufonisia, Iraklia, Schinoussa, Amorgos and Piraeus. This charming destination onthis untouched by time island is ideal for those who want to enjoy the natural landscape and the classic Cycladic architecture, combined with tranquility and relaxation in a wild but beautiful landscape. In Donoussa it is worth visiting the beaches of Stavros with its wonderful sandy beach. Cedar Beach is a heavenly bay with cedars, sand and crystal clear waters, dominated by the wreck of the destroyer Orion, which sank there during the Second World War. You can explore the wreck with a simple mask and snorkel as it is located at a shallow depth near the beach. Livadi beach for those who really love isolation, Livadi (less popular, but equally beautiful) is the ideal destination. The beach is quite secluded and you should get there either by boat or by your own means of transport, which will lead you to the beginning of a path. The path is long and quite tiring but worth a visit. Beaches of Kalotaritissa for those who wish to spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle, here is the ideal destination, it is at the northernmost tip of the island, while the landscape around is wild and the view unique. In Ormos of Kalotaritissa, there are three small beaches. It's Mesa Ammos, Sapounochoma and a little further, Tripiti. It takes an hour and a half to walk from the Cross, but if you dare, you will surely be compensated. If you have your own transport you can get there in about half an hour from Stavros. There is the boat "Donoussa witch", which has daily itineraries in the summer months and transports tourists to remote idyllic sandy beaches when they want to swim in emerald exotic waters and have a great time. There is also regular bus service in the summer months as well as taxi to call. There are no rental cars and motorbikes on the island. What to see on the island: Fokospilia, a fantastic cave with turquoise waters, accessible from the village of Stavros with the help of the local boat “Mauna”, which makes the surrounding island every day. This cave used to be a shelter for seals.
