Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Or just need a change of scenery? Our cosy and romantic Cabin nestled at the top of our Cottage garden could be just what you need. Overlooking beautiful Dorchester Abbey in the heart of the South Oxfordshire countryside. The Cabin is situated at the centre of the historic village of Dorchester-on-Thames. One well behaved dog is welcome too to explore The Thames path, Wittenham clumps and the nearby Chilterns. The space The Cabin is private and self contained, it has it's own key and can be entered via the back of the property. The accommodation consists of a double bed, a sofa, TV and radio. It has a kitchenette located to the back of The Cabin containing an Air Fryer, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle and Fridge Freezer.There are glass tumblers, wine and Champagne glasses, mugs, crockery, cutlery and pots and frying pans also for your use. The shower room consists of a toilet, hand basin, heated towel rail and double shower cubicle. There is also an exclusive decking area for you to enjoy your breakfast or an evening drink and to the rear of The Cabin is a private secure garden with chairs, table and a fire pit/BBQ. Guest access A key safe is situated to the right of the front door of The Cabin. And there is plenty of free parking on The High Street and to the rear of the property. Other things to note We are in the centre of the village. A short walk away is the Co-op our village shop. There are two Pubs and two Tea Rooms - The Abbey Tea Rooms (open spring and summer) Recently opened is The Snug, which is a farm shop/cafe located in Bishop’s Court Farm where you can have brunch and afternoon tea… You can also walk around the farm and visit and walk with the Alpacas. There is an M&S service station a 5 minute drive away and the beautiful Medieval market town of Wallingford is a 10 minute drive away with plenty of independent shops, a weekly market on Fridays and a large Waitrose.
